The Saint Paul Downtown Alliance hosted a second year of Pop-Ups at Central Station in 2018, in partnership with the Knight Foundation. The busiest transit stop in downtown had new spaces for downtown community members to gather, connect and play. Visitors enjoyed several events a week, including lawn games, food trucks, and other fun activities. A full-time community manager was onsite to help coordinate activities and keep the space safe and beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
Activities
Events and amenities were programmed for the site from August 1-October 31, 2018. Pop-Ups at Central Station is a project of the Saint Paul Downtown Alliance, with funding from the Knight Foundation, in partnership with the City of Saint Paul and Metro Transit. The Musicant Group has been retained as the project producer and overall manager.
